Additionally, the bill takes away the basic human right of conscientious objection for medical professionals and the right to peaceful protest for any citizen with fines up to  $16,500 or six months prison.

Australian Family Association  spokesperson, Angela Duff said, “Greens MP, Dr Faruqi’s bill sounds like the abortionist’s dream bill. It is exactly what a for-profit abortion centre would like to have; abortion on demand, for any reason, up to 9 months with no rights for citizens to peacefully protest.”
“Instead of helping mothers and babies, Mehreen Faruqi MP wants to encircle abortion money-making centres in ‘No Free Speech Zones’”, said Mrs Duff.

Free speech and peaceful protests will be criminalised in “Exclusion zones”, gagging the views of most NSW voters who oppose extreme abortion-on-demand laws up to 9 months,” warned Angela Duff.

The NSW Legislation Review Committee has warned the bill trespasses on personal rights and liberties, “...to create exclusion zones within a 150 metre radius of premises where abortions are carried out, including pedestrian access points to such premises (see proposed section 11AB of the Summary Offences Act 1988).

“The Bill creates a number of offences relating to activities in exclusion zones: (a) Impeding access to abortion clinics; (b) Making distressing communications; or (c) Capturing or distributing visual or audio data.

“The provisions will apply despite anything to the contrary in Part 4 of the Summary Offences Act 1988. That Part of the Act deals with public assemblies which have been authorised by the Commissioner of Police or the District or Supreme Court, among other things (see proposed clause 11AG of the Summary Offences Act 1988)”
