Petition to save marriage in the ACT

Following the ACT election, held on the 20th October 2012, the Labor Party and the Greens announced a commitment to form a new government. A part of the agreement between the parties includes supporting a bill to allow for same-sex marriage (Ref: ).

To defeat the bill, the timing of which is presently unknown, it is vital that citizens and residents of the ACT indicate to their MPs, by signing this petition and by directly lobbying their MPs, their opposition to the proposed legalisation of same-sex ‘marriage’.
